With the beginning of the New Year, filmmakers in Bollywood have begun eyeing important release dates for their movies. Even though Vipul Amrutlal Shah 's big-budgeted film London Dreams is still on the floors, the producer-director has set a deadline for the film's completion and release. Shah apparently wants to release the movie on August 14, a day ahead of India's Independence Day anniversary which usually draws a lot of crowd to the theatres. The movie boasts of a stellar cast including Salman Khan , Ajay Devgan and Asin , who would be seen for the second time in Bollywood after her debut recently in the Aamir Khan -starrer Ghajini . 
'London Dreams' has been shot extensively in London and Paris. It is a musical with a love triangle between Salman, Asin and Ajay at the centre of its plot. The flick is also seen as a litmus test for Vipul Shah who, many believe, has piggybacked on the success of Akshay Kumar , a regular in all of Shah's movies, be it Aankhen , Waqt - A Race Against Time , Namastey London or Singh Is Kinng (as producer). Critics believe that almost all of Shah's films have been sub-standard products that succeeded solely by dint of Akshay's mass appeal. We'll see if Shah proves his detractors wrong in 'London Dreams'. |
