Mallika Sherawat's erotic thriller shelved

The Bollywood hottie who’s been more covered than she’s used to in her last few films was slated to do an erotic thriller by producer Ratan Jain. The movie, titled ‘Forbidden’, was to be directed by a newcomer named Manish Gupta.

The film was supposed to have Mallika playing a debauched woman who seduces her stepson. Many actors were considered for the role, including Tusshar Kapoor . Aditya Seal , who debuted opposite Manisha Koirala in Ek Chhoti Si Love Story , was finalized.


But the project could not take off due to differences between the producer and the director.

It is learnt that Manish Gupta chose to commit to another project titled ‘Stoneman Murders’ and put ‘Forbidden’ on backburner, prompting the film’s producer to shelve the project altogether.
