Searching Miss Bollywood in South Africa

So what this Miss Bollywood SA will get? Well, she will get to act in a Bollywood film and will win a cash prize of 50,000 Rand along with a trip to India and various other gifts. Wow!

And how will she be selected? You just have to be in the crowd at the stadiums during the IPL matches. Remember the cameras focusing on beautiful and attractive females sitting in the crowd! In the same way, the girl has to be attractive enough to grace the silver screen. “We’re looking for someone who has the star quality to stand out in a crowd,” said the IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi at a press conference.


Shahrukh Khan said, “The idea is to search for someone who has the attitude and appearance that automatically draws the eye.”

The girls will be selected from the stadiums in Cape Town, East London, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Johannesburg and Pretoria. One finalist will be chosen from each of the venue, hence for the contest there will be eight finalists and from among them one winner will be announced at the finale on May 24 in Johannesburg.

This will be a good chance for many Indian girls out there in SA to chase their Bollywood dreams.
