Sonakshi doesn't want to be Salman's arm candy!

The pretty gal was to make her debut opposite Salman Khan in Arbaaz Khan ’s first production. Sonakshi and her entire family were delighted after hearing the script and she had even agreed to do the film. But according to sources, she had second thoughts about her role after some days. Not wanting to be just an eye candy in the flick, she’s taken the tough call and decided to opt out of the project.

A fashion designer by profession, Sonakshi apparently wants to enter Bollywood with a good role and she felt this film wasn’t a perfect launch pad for her. On their part the makers of the film wanted a fresh face instead of an established actress, so they penciled in Sonakshi. She had a glamorous role in the film.


Some sources also say that because of the current economic recession, Arbaaz wants to wait for a while, and is not in a mood to start his maiden venture now.

However, the movie is still in planning stages and will be directed by Anurag Kashyap ’s brother Abhinav Kashyap. It’s learnt that Arbaaz is still trying to convince Sonakshi for the project.
