Although the Raveena Tandon-starrer Satta has yet to hit the theatres, plans are already afloat to remake the movie in Telugu.
Actress and former Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Prada has acquired the rights to remake Madhur Bhandarkar-directed Satta in Telugu.
Jaya reportedly saw a preview of the film recently and was so impressed by the movie that she decided to remake it in Telugu.
The Telugu version of the movie will have Jaya playing the leading role of a simple housewife who is forced to enter politics.
Well, considering that Jaya has had a brief stint in politics herself, the role in the movie should suit her eminently.
The Telugu version of the movie is likely to go on floors in the last week of February.
