Rain sequence gives Kannada hottie the jitters

From the start when actor-director Ramesh Aravind tipped the idea of a rain song to Sharmila, the actress was nervous. Not because she had inhibitions about the raunchy track, but because she is allergic to rain.

“I am allergic to rain and always get sick after getting drenched in rain. While shooting for the sequence, I was sure that I would fall sick. But Ramesh Aravind sir understood my problems - he would say cut immediately after seeing me totally drenched,” Sharmila is quoted by a news agency.


The actress added that though the song is racy, it doesn’t have anything vulgar.

“The sequence was shot aesthetically. I may look sensuous, but not sexy,” Sharmila, who was recently seen in ‘Navagraha’, told the agency.

Sharmila’s co-star and director, Ramesh Aravind, appreciates her professionalism in shooting the song without complaining even once.
