The Bhadran-directed Udayon will not be the super duper hit Mohanlal 's Udayananu Tharam was. And that is bad news for the Malayalam mega star.
If reports from various centres are any indication, Udayon is slipping, after the initial enthusiasm shown by Mohanlal fans in the first week.
In other words, Udayon is going the way of his earlier film Chandrolsavam, which could not sustain the early fizz.
The grapevine is abuzz that, unless Mohanlal's next film Naran, which is scheduled for an Onam release, clicks at the box office, the Mega star's woes will deepen.
This must be a bitter pill for Mohanlal to swallow, given the fact that his mega star rival Mammootty continues to retain the Midas touch.
