 Shobhana stages a comeback in Mollywood

She made her debut in Malayalam cinema way back in 1984 - in Balachandra Menon's ‘April 18’.
The doe-eyed beauty went on to dominate Mollywood in the nineties with a host of brilliant performances.
The highpoint came when she won the best actress award for her knockout performance in ‘Manichitra Thazhu’ in 1994.
Then she switched her attention to her first love: dancing. Slowly but steadily the actress faded out of Malayalam cinema.
But now she has staged a comeback. The maiden is none other than Shobhana .
She is playing the heroine in Shyama Prasad's ‘Ore Kadal’. And her hero: Mammootty with whom she has given a number of hits.
