After a long gap, Malayalam megastar Mammootty will again do a double role, says the grapevine tingling from Mollywood.
The film, yet to be titled, will be directed by Anwar Rasheed, who delivered Mammookka's biggest hit of recent years, ‘Rajamanickyam’.
The film will have Mammootty essay the roles of two brothers. The story is by Benny Nayarambalam.
The movie, which will be produced by Marikkar Films, will start shooting by November, says the buzz.
The last time Mammootty did a double role was in ‘Dubai’, which went on to become a big hit. Another film in which Mammookka enacted two roles was ‘Samrajyam’.
Other films in the Mammootty kitty are: the Renji Panikkar-directed flick, ‘Shouryam’, a bilingual (‘Aruvadai’ in Tamil and ‘Vandhe Matharam’ in Malayalam and a film with Gopika .
