Rajnikant's 'Sivaji' may be released only next year 10th Feb 2006

It may not see the light of the day this year, after all. We are referring to Tamil superstar Rajnikant 's in the making film, ‘Sivaji’.
The latest buzz from Kollywood is that the film may be released only next year, as director Shankar is keen on getting it perfect.
Of course, shooting for the film is going on apace. It is a break now with Shankar leaving for US in search of ideal locations.
That Shankar is a strict taskmaster when it comes to work is a known secret. He is said to have made even Rajni do a few retakes for some scenes!
Meanwhile, the Telugu dubbing rights of ‘Sivaji’ have been bought for Rs 10 crore by N V Prasad, it is learnt. He intends to release the Telugu version on the same day the Tamil original will be released.
