Speculation was rife that Laila, who got married recently, would call it quits and settle down in real life. But the dainty actress has scotched the retirement talk. 
The lovely lady, back from honeymoon, is on record that she would continue to act in films post marriage. Of curse, she would figure in only those films, which have her husband's approval. That is the only condition. Whatever the reason, the decision is good for Tamil cinema, for Laila is a superb actress. So, countless Laila fans can look forward to watching their favourite heroine soon on the silver screen again. Laila hogged the limelight with ‘Pitamagan’, which fetched Vikram the national award for the best actor. Before that she made her presence felt with ‘Paarthen Rasithen’. The last film she did before marriage was ‘Paramasivam’ with Ajit . Right now she is busy with Malayalam film ‘Mahasamudram’ featuring megastar Mohanlal .
