No wonder, Malayalam megastar Mammootty has also decided that it is time for a change. Wondering what change he has effected in his reel life? The news is that Mammootty has decided to act in a Tamil film, to break the monotony as it were. 
The yet to be titled movie will be directed by Mani Ratnam 's assistant Karthik, according to the grapevine. Of course, Mammootty is no stranger to Tamil cinema, having acted in three four films earlier. Among the movies in Kollywood featuring Mammootty were: ‘Dalapathi’, ‘Aanandam’. The last Tamil flick he did was ‘Junior Senior’. Meanwhile, on home turf, he is in the thick of shooting of ‘Ore Kadal’, directed by Shyama Prasad.
