Number two hero in Kollywood, Vijay , is trying his hand at singing in his forthcoming film, ‘Azhagiya Tamizh Magan’.
A R Rahman is composing music for the film, which has Shriya and the very voluptuous Namitha playing the female leads.
Of course, this is not the first time Vijay is donning the playback singer's robes. He has a number of songs to his credit.
But it is the first time that the 'Ilaya Dalapathi' is singing for Rahman. The grapevine has it that Rahman has composed a foot-tapping air for ‘Azhagiya Tamizh Magan’, and Vijay has done full justice to the song.
The film, which has Vijay in a double role, is slated for an Independence Day release says the Kollywood buzz.
