Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai will reportedly get a whopping Rs 6 crore for playing the heroine of Tamil superstar Rajnikant in Shankar’s film Robot .
This is the highest amount paid to an Indian heroine in any language cinema, says the buzz.
The grapevine has it that Ash commands a fee of Rs 2 crore for acting in Hindi movies and Rs 4 for a Hollywood flick.
When Ash was recently asked the question about her fee in ‘Robot’, she refused to give a figure and only replied: “It is not as much as is being speculated.”
As director Shankar was keen on getting Ash to do the role, he agreed to the hiked up fee of Mrs. Abhishek Bachchan .
The Kollywood buzz is that the shooting of the film will start in April.
‘Robot’ is also said to be the costliest movie to be made in India at Rs 130 crores. It will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
