It is a New Year and time for New Year Resolutions. Telugu topper Trisha Krishnan is no exception to this rule.

So, what are the New Year vows of Trisha? Resolution number one: she would devote equal attention to both Kollywood and Telugu cinema. Accordingly, if she does two films in Tamil, she will do two in Telugu as well.

Resolution number two: she would charge Rs 50 lakh for a Tamil film and Rs 75 lakh for a Telugu flick. Why a higher fee for doing Telugu movies? Well, after all, Trisha is more popular in Tollywood.

At present she is doing Aathi with her favourite Vijay in Kollywood. Then there is ‘Stalin’ with none other than the one and only Chiranjeevi in Tollywood. How did she manage to snap up ‘Stalin’ on which Asin had set her heart? Thereby hangs a tale.

It is an open secret that Trisha was mighty disappointed when she failed to make it to Rajnikant ’s ‘Sivaji’. And the girl made no secret of her chagrin. She unburdened her heart to Rajni himself. The superstar reportedly promised to give her a ‘pleasant shock’.

The grapevine has it that Rajni made sure that Trisha got the female lead role in Chiru’s ‘Stalin’. An overwhelmed Trisha cannot stop singing Rajni’s praise since then.
