Here is the hottest news from Tollywood: Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi and Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan will act in the Telugu remake of Lahe Raho Munnabhai .
Chiru will play the title role played by Sanjay Dutt in the Hindi original, according to the grapevine.
And Vidya will be featured in the role of the radio jockey in the film, which will be produced by Gemini Film Circuit and directed by Prabhu Deva .
Vidya has been signed up as Chiranjeevi is said to be highly impressed by Vidya's performance in ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’.
The film will be titled ‘Shankardada Zindabad’, according to sources in the Telugu film industry.
Incidentally, this will be Vidya's first sojourn in southern films. She had rejected many earlier offers to act in south Indian films, including Kamal Haasan 's Dasavatharam .
