Come March 13 ace fashion designer Ritu Beri will unveil her latest collection at the Paris Fashion Week.
Ritu is already in Paris giving final touches to her collection, which she has designed for the French fashion house Jean Louis Scherrer.
Renowned fashion mogul Mounir Moufarrige, who took Ritu under his wing a few months back is said to have put the feisty Beri girl at the helm of Scherrer’s ready-to-wear line. This is deemed as Moufarrige’s bid to revive the ailing fashion house.
Ritu, who is making a transition from haute couture to pret-a-porter, is not just the first Indian but the first Asian to have joined a French fashion house. From now on apart from her own label she will also work as the chief designer of Scherrer ready-to-wear line.
