Katrina Kaif takes personal interest in getting the right costumes for her film.
She did it in Vipul Amrutlal Shah ’s last film Namastey London when she herself went shopping in London to pick the best dresses for her role of a London-born NRI. Now, before the shooting of the title song of Shah’s next production venture, Singh Is Kinng , Katrina went to Dubai to get a perfect dress for herself.
Reports say that the costumes of the leading stars – Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif – were not designed until the sets were erected in Mumbai. Apparently, Shah wanted the costumes to be such that they stand out against the background sets of the movie’s title song.
Once the sets were ready, it was Katrina who took the initiative and flew all the way to Dubai to pick a suitable dress to wear in the song.
Having worked with Katrina in the past, Shah trusts her fashion tastes and appreciates her dedication.
Akshay and Katrina are reported to be shooting the song in Mumbai.
However, neither Katrina nor Akshay (two of Vipul Shah’s favourites) would star in Shah’s next film London Dreams . The director-producer is apparently looking for a foreign face to play the leading lady.
