Dressing up Kylie Minogue for 'Blue' song

Manish’s name to Kylie was suggested by Farah Khan who’s choreographing the dance number on Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and the Aussie pop sensation. Since the song is being shot against the background of a nightclub, Manish had to come up with something sexy for Kylie.

And boy! Manish has designed something exclusive.


“It's a dull gold, champagne-coloured Chantilly lace dress with silver metallic lining,” Manish is quoted by a Mumbai tabloid.

Apparently, the measurements of Kylie’s hot bod were faxed to Manish before he began working on the dress. After he was done, he took the dress to Kylie, who, Manish says, loved the outfit, but suggested a few changes.

One change was the addition of tassels in the dress. Manish says Kylie felt that tassels would make “the dance movements more sensuous and graceful”.

In fact, the dress is learnt to have turned out so sexy that the makers of ‘Blue’ have barred all outside visitors from the sets of the song in Film City. They are also making sure that nobody on the sets clicks a photo of Kylie because they want to guard her look for the film’s promos.
