Sanjay Dutt's SOS to hairstylist

It’s not easy to juggle politics and acting, though some might opine that the two professions are more alike than they seem. Ask Sanjay Dutt who’s been so tirelessly on the campaign trail in UP along with his “bade bhai” Amar Singh that he’s not had any time to even get a haircut.

And it was in that unkempt appearance Dutt reported on the sets of Ajay Devgan’s home production All The Best in Goa recently, knocking director Rohit Shetty off the chair with that un-groomed look.


Then what? Even as the cameras waited to roll, an SOS was sent to Dutt’s trusted hairstylist Aalim Hakim, who immediately left for Goa to give Sanju baba the much-needed hair cut.

Now, the bond between Dutt and Hakim spans generations. Hakim’s dad used to style late Sunil Dutt’s looks. And Hakim has been giving Sanjay haircut for a decade. So it was no surprise that Hakim left everything on hand to attend to Sanjay in Goa.

The hairstylist took not more than a few minutes to scissor off the unkempt locks on Sanju’s head and the actor was soon ready to face the camera.
