Actress Dia Mirza says her acting career got a fresh lease of life in the year 2005.
Ever since Dia stepped into Bollywood, success has eluded her. Her first few films bit the box-office dust and she even resorted to doing some hot stuff in the movie Tumsa Nahin Dekha , hoping for success.
Dia says year 2005 broke her jinx of flops. This year, she featured in two successful films – Parineeta and Dus .
“2005 has broken the jinx. I had my first two hits. I can't call them my hit films but I was a part of two very big hits and I am looking forward to some independent solo blockbusters,” Dia is quoted as saying in an agency report.
While Dia still has no solo hit to her name, she is sure she would get one in the coming year.
“I am very satisfied and excited as I have signed some very good films. I am looking forward to start some really good work in 2006 and I think it will be a fantastic year for me,” says the optimistic Dia.
