Mom scolded me on the sets: Soha Ali Khan

None can doubt the acting credentials of Sharmila Tagore. So it was quite obvious for her young daughter Soha to be nervous while shooting with her mom for director Sangeeta Datta's English movie, co-starring Girish Karnad , Om Puri and some British actors.

“I was a bit nervous while working with her because she is a perfectionist but it was a superb experience. There were times when she used to scold me on the sets,” Soha is quoted by a news agency as saying.


Soha, who was recently seen in the comedy film 99 , added that she’s not put off by repeated comparisons to her mom and her brother Saif Ali Khan , who is successful in the industry.

“It feels good because both of them are versatile actors and have been in the industry for years. I'm new and here I am not in competition with peers,” Soha maintained.

Soha is presently upbeat about next release, Kunal Deshmukh's Tum Mile in which she’s paired with Emraan Hashmi .

“I have done romantic roles earlier as well but this movie is my first contemporary romantic film. The music of the movie is great and working in it was a big challenge,” said Soha who reportedly had to stand in water for long hours during the film’s shoot.
