Bhandarkar, who is known for exposing different sections of society in a realistic way on the silver screen, is now making his latest venture ‘Traffic Signal’, which is set on the streets of Mumbai and takes a look at the life of common people.
The film will feature a song called Hat Bhai, which speaks about the Mumbai city.
The lyrics of the song are written by Sameer, who has given numerous hit songs like, Udd Ja Kale Kava and Zingadi Ko Bina Pyar.
The music of the film is given by Shamir Tandon, who recently directed the music of Corporate .
Shamir says he experimented with the music of the film to celebrate the spirit of Mumbai city by giving an old Bombay feel of 60’s to the song.
The film is based on people living their life around the traffic signals. Konkana Sen , who worked in Madhur’s Page 3 , is once again the part of the cast which also has Neetu Chandra of Garam Masala and Kunal Khemu , who recently made his debut in Mahesh Bhatt’s Kalyug .
