Balaji production’s next venture will have a tongue-in-cheek song about Akshay Kumar and his women.
“Yeh hai Akshay Kumar, Jo hai ishq ke bimaar, Ek don ki bahen se isko ho gaya pyaar,” these are some of the lines of the promotional song of the movie C Kkompany .
However, the reference in the song is not to actor Akshay Kumar but to the character Akshay Kumar played by Tusshar Kapoor in the film. But the character does have a connection to Akshay, the superstar.
According to the film’s director Sachin Yardi, the name Akshay Kumar has been given to Tusshar’s character rather sarcastically. The film has Tusshar playing a cowardly, gutless guy whereas the name Akshay itself signifies machismo and valour.
In the film, Tusshar falls in love with a don’s sister, played by Raima Sen The song about ‘Akshay Kumar’, titled “Ek Building Mein Bandh Hai Teen”, has Sanjay Dutt introducing the film’s main characters – Tusshar, Anupam Kher and Paresh Rawal .
The song is just a music video and promotional track and its lyrics are written by Shabbir Ahmed.
The movie’s director says there is no intention of spoofing or making fun of actor Akshay Kumar in the film.
