'Aashayein' has John Abraham playing a compulsive gambler whose life changes completely after fate plays a cruel joke on him.

Synopsis

At a party to celebrate his big win at gambling, Rahul proposes his girlfriend Nafisa. Within minutes of announcing his engagement to her, Rahul collapses on the floor.
After a medical diagnosis, Rahul discovers that he has only a few months left to live. How he makes the most of this time and how it changes him is what 'Aashayein' is about.
The movie is the tale of Rahul's journey from darkness to light. A journey about love, hate, life, death, and above all, hope.
