not only a great movie but also a very brave step for King ShahRukh Khan

I had mixed feeling when I heard of the planned release of My name is khan. I knew it was going to be a good movie but also that it would be a big risk for ShahRukhji I need not have worried the subject mater was dealt with very well and the movie made it,s point with out going over the top and gave me as a white muslim (people tend to be amazed by this fact) how hard it must have been to be muslim of asian desent living in the US at that time ,ShahRukh played his part amazingly well and with great senitivity and Karan,s direction was also very well done this movie helped open a lot of peoples minds to the fact that just because you have a muslim name like Khan or Kasim it does not mean that we all run around killing people and this movie did a very good job of getting this point across both ShahRukh and Karan took a big risk in making a movie that would point out this fact and they did it very well.There is also ShahRukh,s protrayal of a person with a disabiliy as the mother of 2 disabiled children I was amazed at how well he played this part this was something he clearly researched it was not just an of the cuff performance a lot of thought and hard work clearly went into it rnAll in all this movie touched me on many differant levels and will go down as one of ShahRukh,s best performances and that is saying some thing when you consider that I have every movie ShahRukh ever made and have been a big fan for 15 years.rnA real 10 out of 10 movie and in my top 5 favorite ShahRukh Khan movies rnLong live king KHANrnThe movie had me gluded to my seat the whole way through and had me in tears because it showed me how unfair this world and some of the people in it tend to be and brought a better understanding to all non muslims that for the most part we are no differant to any one else and that you should not stand in judgement of a whole religion because of a few people
