The Tamil remake of 3 Idiots titled Nanban with an ensemble star cast hit theaters on January 12. Though the promos of the film starring Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyan, and Sathyaraj have got tremendous response.
Shankar has apparently done a thorough research on the book Five Point Someone, written by Chetan Bhagat. 3 Idiots is inspired from the book and so is Nanban. Thus it can’t be said that the remake is the exact copy of the 2010 Hindi blockbuster. The plotline of 3 Idiots was entirely changed from the book but it retained the central characters.
The fans were quite curious to know the running time of the movie. It’s said that the movie runs for 3 hours and 10 minutes. This also means that director Shankar has included a lot more scenes than it was in the original version of 3 Idiots which had a running time of 164 minutes.
Ileana and Vijay have shot in some exotic locations for the song sequences. And this Belly Song is also no less a Pongal treat. Catch the other promotional videos of the year’s much awaited film Nanban. |
